Awareness Saves Lives.

I’m passionate about giving back to my community and helping people live longer, healthier lives. That’s why I am a Health Advocate working with the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association. I raise awareness about women’s heart health as a Go Red For Women spokeswoman, I advocate for better health programs and medical care in New Jersey as a member of the American Heart Association’s Government Relations Committee, and I champion fundraisers that benefit research and community programs.

Through my advocacy work and sharing my personal experience, I want to empower people to be the CEO of their own health, raise money for life-saving medical research and create networks that provide compassion, education and support. I would love one day for the world to be free of stroke and heart disease. I know this won’t happen in my lifetime, but I hope that my contributions get us closer to that goal.

Stacy’s passion about raising awareness of stroke, (e.g. spontaneous carotid artery dissection) has made her an esteemed leader with the American Heart Association, as she developed her talent to educate and mentor with compassion.

 

Stacy’s compelling story of her life altering event and incredible resiliency has taught survivors that they too can overcome a life-threatening health crisis and go on to thrive.
